When the truck is idle and running, if either driver's, passenger door or hood is shut, the truck quits running. Sometimes, it doesn't want to stay running after the truck has been "shutoff" by the door closing, only remedy is to slam the door a couple more times and try to start it again. Cannot find any electrical oddities other than exposed and altered speaker wiring in back coming through upholstery where it appears someone attempted to (badly) run speakers to the back.

How much does it cost to have the problem diagnosed?

Hi:
It sounds like you have a short, but I doubt it has anything to do with the speaker wires. What I suggest is to stop ba an Auto Zone or other nationally recognized auto parts stores. They will scan it for free to see if there are any codes stored in the computer.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
