Electrical problem
1992 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a fuel injected dodge dakota I have cheked the fuses and replaced the coil, the plate in the base of the distributor, and the computer. I still dont have fire at the plugs. I was told that their was a junction of three wires to one, red with white stripes below the fuse relay box about six to eight inches down the harnes. I cheked it and it was in good shape. Is there any thing that I have missed that can stop the coil from fireing?

The computer is the ignition control module, the plate in the botem of the distributor is the pickup coil, and the cap and roter were checked and are electricly fine. That is why I was asking if their was any thing I missed. Thankyou

I know you've replaced the coil did you check for battery voltage to it-also check the coil primary and 2ndary winding resistances.

When I tested the voltage to the coil I got 9 volts on the hot side and nothing on the ground and I do mean no ground potential. The resistance on the coil was within spec.
