96 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8L ES automatic. Thank you for this forum. I've perused through the problems posted by Dodge vehicle owners and here is my mine. My car stalls while running and has reach optimum engine temperature as shown on the temp gauge. It used to cover about 31 miles and got worse and worse or shorter travel mileage (approx 7 miles) but it must have run long and engine warmed. It used to start easily but then it progressed to more cranks and finally it needed cooling down before starting again. After using Popular Mechanics trouble shooting guide I thought it was fuel pressure regulator (FPR) because the engine bay was unusually hot without verifying with a thermometer. Replaced the fuel pump module and fuel filter. Checked and replaced hoses and electrical connections, no diagnostic trouble codes retrieved through scanner, and cannot decipher trouble codes in "check engine" lights. Now I would remove and sometimes switch the ASDs and car would start immediately. But stalling problem stays.
