I just purchased a 1998 Dodge Caravan, 2.4ltr with 104000 mi. It worked fine untill I brought it home and shut it off. After starting again the lights started flashing. The AC button is a little sticky and was very slow to come out after be depressed.

The system is flashing because there is aproblem with your A/C most likely your A/C syste, has a leak that explains the working untill you got home etc. You need to find the leak and repair leak, evacuate and recharge system. One of the best ways to do so will be to refill system with new oil and a leak detection dye then after system funs low you should be able to identify leak area by the dye etc. Then the gauge system needs to be reset. You have to hold two buttond down while turning on the ign. I will look up that for you and respond with proper way to reset.
