I have a 2000 dodge grand caravan 3.3 with 70000 miles that is squeling when a turn the car on and then gets worse when I turn on the ac. It goes a way but I do not see any fraying on the belt itself. Is this fixable on my own? Do I need a new belt?

You may need a belt and or tenioner. Get a good look at the pulley alignment and see if anything is not true.

Does the belt have any cracks or glazing?
