2001 Dodge Caravan airbag light stays on

My airbag light began acting up, going on and off. It now stays on all the time.
My horn and my cruise control still work with no problems.
I was told by the dealer that, if my cruise control and horn did not work, that it was a problem with my clockspring inside the steering column.
However, since my horn and cruise control still work OK, what is the cause?

They are correct. The clock spring is the problem if the horn. Don't work. However, in your case, chances are there is a bad sensor or one that is disconnected. Have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from.
