Intermittent starting problem.
My can seems to intermittently stop when I try to start it and then after leaving it sit for a day, it starts back up like there hasn't been a problem. This happens maybe once every other month or so. What could be the problem.

This happens every now and then - when I start the car - it will start then die - then I try to start it again and it would not crank at all. After letting it sit for a day or for a few hours - I will start it and it starts without a problem

I just spent 1000.00 on a new starter, an alternator and also a new battery. Based on what the dealer told me that they found. That didn't work
