1998 Dodge Caravan repair question

Sometimes my instrument panel works fine, other times everything is dark and flat. Not a fuse. A short somewhere, maybe? Something I can repair myself?

Most common is the solder weld between the connector pin and cluster board
remove cluster and take apart and check the back of the board pin weld (solder )
need to be re-solder it
