Hi Bob, What a fantastic site this is. I read the old Q & A's. I will be getting a car code reader today. Failure; Van was running great for some time. Stopped for lunch (BBQ). When we got in van It cranked fine. The instrument panel was dead. I then tried to drive but would not get out of first (would not go faster than 20mph). Limped home. Check both fuse boxes. All were good. Thank you for your help. I wish you'll were located in Charlotte, NC. So I could take my car to you!

:D <-- That's me happy! I read the old Q & A and made a check list of things to try. I bought a code reader. It showed no codes. I then disconnected the battery to "reset" the computer. While disconnected I cleaned the battery contacts for someething to do. After reconnecting the battery about 10 minutes later, I cranked her up and my gauges came back. I then let her Idle a while to retrain the computer. Then I took her out for a spin. It did great. I'm glad it's back gunning and I'm really glad your website was there. I picked up these tips from the Q & A. Fantastic! I also learned that that surging the van started doing is the transmission. At least I can prepare for it. I wish you'll were in Charlotte, nc so I could take it to you. You'll are the best!
