I have a 96 Dodge Caravan that I just had the tranny replaced on. After I got it back, there were some error codes showing up - #6 injector and #6 cylinder - #27 and #43.

There are some frayed wired going into the #1 & #6 injector connectors, but most of them look pretty bad/worn.

I'm thinking of replacing the entire injector harness, but am also thiinking it may be the injector itself.

How hard is it to replace an injector and do I need any special tools?

Please give me some insight into how to proceed.
Thank you very much

To replace the injector is pretty easy, just involves taking off the intake manifold. Once that is off to remove the injectors it takes a firm pull they should come right out, besure to put on new o-rings when replaced lube them up with light grease, DONT USE SILICON. No special tools required.

I would replace the harness first, then if that doesnt clean things up check the injectors, could save you some time.
