what is an easy way to loosen the bolt on the crank pullly have tried everthing and can not get it loose and I do not have access to an impact wrench desperetly need to get it off so I can set my timing marks. The engine is a 3.0 in a 1996 dodge grand caravan

You can remove the flywheel inspection cover, jam a screwdriver between the case and a flywheel or flexplate tooth, and that will hold the crankshaft enough to get the bolt out. I think the approved method is with a harmonic balancer holder tool, which could perhaps also be improvised with a bar and bolts that thread into holes on the face of the crank pulley.
