Any ideas on how to replace a rear indicator bulb on a 2008 avenger? I found 2 plastic wing nuts in the trunk compartment that hold the lens in place but there seems to be something else holding it. Am I on the right track? Any ideas?

Thanks

Looks like the two wing nuts are all that holds it in the third tab is just a ball that pops in socket. Try popping lens out

Thanks for the reply. I tried popping the lens out with the 2 wing nuts removed, but the end with the tab didn't move. I didn't want to use too much force. It looks like a tab with a ball-bearing inside. Do I need to squeeze the tab first?

Thanks again

Have one more question for you. Can you not just twist the plug in and pull out assembly to change bulb? Not sure never changed one on a new avenger

Not sure, but I don't think it turns. I will try it in the morning.

You were right the first time. The tab just pops out. I just had to use a bit more elbow grease.

Thanks for this.
