I am trying to change the dimmer switch to a floor mounted dimmer switch. Which wires do you cut from the column and reconnect to the new floor dimmer switch?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Just to be clear do you mean switching the Hi/Low beams (headlights) or dimming the lights on the dashboard?
Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hello again.

Okay, just making sure. Below I've attached pictures of the wiring diagram showing which wires control the circuit. Two wires go to the BCM (body control module) two wires go to the headlight assemblies and one wire goes to the under hood junction box. They all tie into the multi-function switch (turn signal lever). Here is a tutorial showing how to check wiring:

Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Where do you cut the pink and dark blue wires, meaning where at and what do the wires come out of, to connect to the floor operated dimmer switch?

How many wires do you have on the floor switch? Looks like you need four.
