Diesel like knacking

Changed serpentine belt, then died about 10 miles from home with a diesel like knocking. And now will not stay running at all put will start then die with the diesel like knocking. Any help please

It sounds like you have a blown head gasket between two cylinders, do a compression test to confirm two low cylinders next to each other. Here is a guide on how to do it.
