Defrost vent issue

I noticed I got a small amount of air coming from the windshield vent but nothing compared to what comes out of the mid range and lower vents. This has caused issues with lack of being able to defrost the windshield. What's best course of action to fix this?

Hello,

This sounds like you could have a blend door actuator problem on your vehicle. The blend door actuator is a small electric plastic motor that move the blend door which sits on your vehicle's Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Box and directs the air to the proper vent.
