Right now, the Dash lights are very dim. Can't see at night. The center shifter cannot be seen at night. Seems like the bulb is out. Tried to adjust the dimmer rheostat on the dash. No effect. What could be wrong? Bad dimmer rheostat? Fuse? Could the problems be related?

It does sound like the rheostat is bad be to be sure let's check the fuse #20 and #22 in the fuse panel under the hood and fuse #23 in the fuse panel on the left side of the dash. Here is a guide to help with the fuse locations in the images below and I have included the dash illumination wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works.

please go over these and get back to me.

Thank you. I replaced the rheostat, and everything works. I have another problem. The power mirrors don’t work. Either side. What can be wrong?
