Cutting off

First my truck started stalling and shutting off when I put it in reverse so I drove it for a while. But, now when I drive it it start shutting off regular so the battery went bad. I put a new battery in it and I parked it in the yard I went to start it up and now when I started it up and put it in drive it shuts off.

Hello,

Does the engine run okay but when you put it in gear it just shuts off quickly? If so then you might have a torque converter that might be bad, can you make a video of the problem and send me the link it would really help.
