Well, I was driving one night when the batteries came on and the car stalled and would not start again. I have recently replaced the batteries, the alternator, the fuel pump. And also, the spark plugs and wires. When I say recent, I mean in the last three months. When the car stalled on me, I did not lose batterie power at all of flickering of lights stayed on and the batteries light went ocd after the car stalled out.

Hi,

Are all electrical components working presently? I ask because a crank no-start condition is usually the result of either a loss of fuel or an ignition spark.

Do me a favor and try this. See if the engine starts if you use starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, we know it is a fuel-related issue. If there is no change, then I need you to check for spark at the plugs.

Here is a link that explains how it's done:

Let me know what you find.

Yes, if you are referring to the spark plugs yes, they are sparking just changed them a week ago. I will try to start it with the starter fluid and let you know. Thank you so much.

One night I was driving, and my headlights went out and so did my brake lights. I unplugged a wire from the car alarm system and the lights came on. Could the alarm system have something to do with it not wanting to start?

There was no change with using the starter fluid and the spark plugs are sparking. Put a brand new ignition component in and still no change.

If we have an ignition spark at the plugs and fuel (starting fluid) and it doesn't at least try to start, we have something different going on.

To answer your question, yes, a security system could prevent it from starting. Is it a factory system or is it an aftermarket system?

Also, you have me concerned about having spark but no change when using starting fluid. Is it possible for you to record it cranking and upload it for me to hear? If it has spark and fuel, it should at least try to start unless there is a compression issue or ignition timing. If I could hear it cranking, I should be able to tell if one or the other is a possibility.

Let me know.
