How do I get the distributor out of the van? From the front, the back, what? Looks impossible to install the advanced auto distributor, Carquest T2700, seems way too long for clearance.
I am a paralyzed veteran, vehicle is a VMI RICON Gateway lift, swivel seat. Problem was intermittant no crank, no start. Changing PCM relay fixed it for a day.
FOXTELL 300i shows no rpm when I crank it, no codes but does communicate. No voltage at top pin of ICM, spoutT connector buried and not removed.

Dozens of videos used to trouble shoot. I"think" it is in distributor.

Yes you are on the right track for sure. Here is a guide to show you how to get the job done. Just make sure the ignition rotor and distributor housing is in the same place once the job is done.

Please let us know what happens and upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Cheers, Ken

Been a while since I pulled the distributor in a van but I recall it took a few choice words. Seems like I pulled the air intake hoses and a few others to get to it.

The PIP can be tested by probing the spout lead and looking for 5-7 volts while cranking. Or use an LED test light and Tpin the PIP signal at the top pin of the TFI module with the ground side to the TFI and positive to battery pos. If the LED flashes the PIP is working.
