The radiator pops like it may have trapped air. The upper radiator hose is getting hot the lower hose is cold. The radiator is not filling up. Could the thermostat be installed backwards or could the radiator be clogged?

Hello,

Yes it could be plugged with debris. I would recommend doing a cooling system flush and fill. I have included a link for you to go to below.

Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
