The weather is getting hotter in my area. When I start driving on a long-distance trip, the AC/blower works fine for about 45 minutes. Then the air flow slows down until there’s no air blowing out of the vents. I can hear the blower working, but no air is coming out. These are the recent repairs that were done. New condenser, new compressor, freon levels are stable/normal. I don’t want to change the actuators to find out there is something else going on. If the actuator fails, could this close the vent doors? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, if the mode actuator fails it will do this, but the refrigerant levels can be a tad low causing the evaporator to ice up. So, next time the A/C is on, and the air slows down and stops as you say, park the car in one stop for 15 minutes to see how much water comes out of the drain tube, (near passenger side floorboard/firewall). If there is a good size puddle, you know the A/C is low.
