My car will not start it turns over and all the lights go on but all you hear is a small click. It was overheating because of a leak but after letting it cool off and adding coolant it would start. A friend of mine added water filled it past the max mark now it will not start.

Can you remove the spark plugs and turn the engine over by hand?
Also just make sure that the starter is okay, check for twelve volts at the main starter terminal on the starter (heavy cable) and with the key on crank check for twelve volts at the small solenoid wire on the starter as well. Let me know what you find.
