Codes $7E8 and $7E9

I am getting theses as codes, and it takes me to maybe a diagnoses menu either choice a d when I try to read codes it says not supported, I have a cheap like $35.00 Autel code reader with auto link or is this another must take to a Certified Mini Technician? Can anyone help?

Hello,

Codes 7E8 and 7E9 are sub-systems.
7E8 is for the engine and 7E9 is for the transmission.
You will need a suitable diagnostic tool to read the codes in each sub-category.

Once done you can post these codes here for further evaluation and assistance.

I was able to take of the 7EA code at least it ended up being an over retarded cam position sensor on b bank and I'll have to wait for transmission code to come back for I cleared after replacing sensor oops lol! Regardless I'm winning at this point tha know so much my friend.
