Got a clunking noise when I turn the wheel far left or right. It is worse when I have the brakes on. Like at a stop light. If I turn the wheel it makes a clunk noise. Seems worse when brakes are on. I have heard it could be: axle, tie rod, ball joints.

Yep, all of those can make a clunk, so could a bad wheel bearing, bad brake caliper mount or bad strut bushings. Only way to tell is to start checking. Most are easy to find if you just jack the front end off the ground and stick a couple jack stands under it then start moving various parts while looking for movement where there should not be any.
