I have a 47 CJ2A, putting new brake lines on and noticed when I turn the yoke by hand, the brake drum spins, but put a little pressure on it by hand and it stops spinning even though the yoke is being turned. Should it not be a solid turn on the brake drum when the yoke is turned. See attached video. Thanks.

What does the other side do when you touch that drum? In an open differential what you show is normal. In a locking differential rotating the yoke would turn both sides and putting your hand on one side would stop all motion. Now if you can block both sides and still turn the yoke that way then you have an internal problem with the differential.
