I had trouble with in down in KY on a trip. It would start just would not stay running. A guy at fair grounds hit the fuel lines with taps. Then it started and I drove 250 miles then it sputted and stalled. It acted like it wanted to start and it never did. So I replaced the fuel line filter and after that it started, then died again. I cant hear the pump rub, but the auto zone guy said sometimes you wont? I thought every time you just turn the key but not full start. Can you have any idea what is next other then the fuel pump. Too see if its that and not fuel pump because I live on small income and it took me 4 rs to go to KY(700 miles round trip). Thank you,
i wish I could donate but if its a fuel pump, some of my meds. Will be forgottin. But I will try and get some for you.

To confirm the fuel pump is the problem, you have to check the actual fuel pressure if its within specs with a fuel pressure tester
