I just found out my brake lights are out on my cirrus, I had the bulbs checked and I checked the fuses but did not see anything. But when I check the fuse diagram I don't see anything in particular for the brake lights. Everything else is fine but I noticed a few days ago my dimmer lights were slow coming on can I possibly have a short?

Your dimmer has nothing to do with the brake lights. When you said that your brake lights out, were all three out (including the on the trunk lid)?

Bulb 3057 has dual filaments, are they both good? For good measure, I would just replace one of them just to be sure. I have seen many bulbs that you think they are good, but the filament break off, you just don't see the break point.

If after that, all three still not turning on, you may have a brake switch issue.
