I need to replace the tail light bulbs. I unscrewed the unit from the body and was faced with one square port with wires in it and then 3 quarter turn caps. I just need to know how to open it up to replace the bulb.

The square one twists a quarter turn also then pulls out. They get stuck and don't always come out that easy but they usually all turn counter clockwise and pull straight out. Spray the plastic with silicone and the next replacement will be easier. Use a pair of pliers for more power. Ok Take a good look to see if their are any locking clips that must be pryed slightly. Even if they break, it stays put.
