Is the heat blowing out of the panel vents, or shifting to the floor ducts?

It Blows hot air out of the Panel vents. Which is where I keep the control setting on most of the time.

OK check the refigerant charge, if low under hard accelleration the a/c is normally cut of by the PCM, but if it cuts out more than usual, and warm air blows out, it could be low on R143a gas.
