2002 Chevy Venture Fuel pump

2002 Chevy Venture 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I need to know why after installing a new fuel pump I have no power running to the fuel pump I have tested the fuses and relays they seem to be working and I have tested the grey wire when vehicle was turned on and there is no power the grey wire is not burnt the plug in the top of the old fuel pump was burnt but I have wired in a new plug and all the wires on that have been tested and have power I am baffled why at the wiring harness plug into the frame at the gray wire has no power all of the other wires have power just not the gray I don't know if my van has shut down the fuel pump to prevent a fire and how to turn it back on so it will start when ether was sprayed directly in the intake van started right up and ran for a few Please help Thank you

All you got is 2secs to check for power on the gray wire before the fuel pump relay de-energizes. Could be a problem with the computer control of the fuel pump relay on the coil side of the relay
