1993 chevy G10 cargo van. Engine cranks and turns as normal, but will not start. I think it may be the fuel pump which I know is mounted inside the gas tank. Are there any other things which could be causing this problem, before I remove the gas tank to replace the fuel pump. Also are there any test I can perform to diagnos potential problems

Hi there,

If you have spark at the plugs, you may very well have a faulty fuel pump. Try taking off the fuel filter and using a suitable container see if you have supply & pressure when you try to start. If no fuel check for a fuse and also check for voltage at the pump.
