Steering problem
1996 Chevy Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I am attempting to replace my steering column, I am now putting in the ignition tumber and having problems! After installing it, when I turn the key, it has no spring back. Is there something I am missing?

You are going to have to drop down your steering column again, on the top of it you will notice a rod that is connected to a slide switch on the column make sure that it is working properly, and you did not get some wires jammed up around the mechanism that is why your key as no resistance to return.
