You dont get no response from pump with key on?

Could be the pump finally went out and that might have been what was causing your driveability issue, if you get the initial pump at key on but when cranking you get nothing I would recheck the ignition coil and pickup coil because the pump energizes after getting a signal from there, also check the oil pressure sending unit.

Also check and double check all that you were checking make sure all is properly adjusted and hooked up right.
