1988 Chevy Truck Running lights not working.

When I put on the running lights the front lights work but the rear do not come on. When I press the brake the lights come on. One is light is normal and the other is very dim. But my running lights do not come on and I cannot dive the truck at night without being pulled over by police.

Do you have a trailer lightplug?
If you do, try disconnecting the trailer light module and plugging the lights directly.
