Hi Guys!

My TB has been a true diamond. I've taken good care of her and she does the same for me.

This morning I filled the tank and headed of to work. At the second stop sign about 2 miles thru hill and dale. She died as I came to a stop. Coasted her around the corner and parked. Made 2 attempts at starting of which #2 fired her up and she ran pretty good. No check engine lights upon restart and all gauges are in normal operating areas.

Let me backup a bit now by saying that she had been idling a bit up and down the last 2-3 mornings upon startup AND I ran her down to about 2 gallons in the tank before refill this morning.

Could I have just sucked some crud thru the pump and or filter which would cause this issue or am I looking at just a symptom. Fuel pump possibly be on the fritz. She was tuned 20K ago. Possibly a sensor.K&N may need a good douching now that winter is over as well.

Help!

Based on your description, is sounds like there could be a problem with either the throttle position sensor or it could be fuel related. The TPS should have set a code (check engine light) so I would recommend checking fuel pump pressure. Also, was the fuel filter replaced during the tune up?

Here is a how to for checking fuel pump pressure.

Let me know what you find.
