Are you able to tell me how to correct a load noise when I turn the front a/c to high. It makes a loud humming noise like something like a leaf or stick has lodged itself in the blower. I do not know where the intake is for this a/c or how to dis-assemble to correct this problem?

Thank you
best regards,

OK some info first. Does this noise only happen when you turn on the a/c or does the noise happen in heat modes too? Basicly does the noise come when the blower motor is running in any setting or only when you put it on A/C?

Yes, the noise comes from blower motor.A/c and heat alike. Considering the noise it seems to only hummmm when the blower is on high speed.

Ok so have you pulled the blower motor to see if anything was in there? Once the blower motor is out then you can inspect it and even hook it up to a battery to see if makes noise then and if it does then you need to replace it.

Oh and another thing. If you could please look at;I purchased a Quest ReChill Kit (polar bear on the front) including a recharge hose with gauge handle. I've connect the hose to the car properly, yet after piercing the bottle with the other side of the hose two things happen: 1) it's not tight enough so the air leaks out making the hissing sound; and 2) I tighten it, I hear nothing as if it's airsealed, but nothing is being pumped into the car. In neither case does the gauge move. Is there a simple step I'm forgetting to do? I've reread the directions endless times.

Ok first question blower motor is located under the hood it is on passenger side here is a pic of what you are looking for. Just unplug it and unbolt it and remove it check inside for any debri and then check the motor for noise.

Now on you A/C problem your freon is too low for the a/c clutch to engage so it won't take in any freon so on the first can you put in you will need to take a paper clip and jump the low pressure switch. You do this by unpluging it and then put the paper clip in the connector while the truck is runnig with the a/c set on max, you should hear the a/c compressor engage now you can put in the freon. Now after you put in the first can remove the paper clip and plug it back in and see if the a/c compressor will engage on it own. If not you may have other problems and we will have to test the low and high pressure switches. Here is a pic of the low pressure switch I am refering to and a pic of where it is at also on the passanger side of the truck.
