Fuel gauge not working. Can you advise causes?

It is probably the sending unit in the tank. To access it you must drop the gas tank and remove the whole fuel pump module. The tank level unit is attatched to the module. If you do this or have a mechanic do it MAKE SURE you replace the fuel pump wire harness connector or you will have issues with this connection.
