1997 Chevy Tahoe My car won't start

This morning I started my vehicle up and I drove 1/4 mile and it cut off and won't start back up. I tried to add starter fluid to it but it does the same thing that is try to start but does not turn completely over.

Check for spark. See if you have spark at spark plugs, if you dont remove wire from coil then see if you have spark at coil.
