Under the passenger dash is a cover panel, there are three bolts holding the panel up. Remove the panel and you will see a module underneath with a connector, this is the blend door module. This controls how much of the hot and cold air mix. Have someone move the temp control slowly from hot to cold and see if the module shaft (look between the module and housing at the aluminum shaft) moves to make the correction. DO NOT run the module without it being in place. You will damage it if you operate it while removed. If it doesn't operate, change it out but do not have the system on when changing it. You can remove the radio, hvac fuses from the side and under hood fuse panels for a few minutes to reset the system to allow it to relearn the module positions. Just turn the key to ON with the a/c off and let it go thru each module on its own to relearn, after 5 minutes it will be ready to test.
