Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Chevy Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Hello, Okay I have a suburban that is having this problem where in won't turn over when it is cold outside but if I spray a little starter fluid in the intake it will start right up and run great then I can stop and start it over and over again but if it sits for a while and cools down again it won't turn over without the starter fluid although if it is hot or even warm outside it will start all day no problem.
If you can help me with this problem that would be fantastic because my truck is very tall and I am like 5 foot nothing and it is getting very annoying having to carry around a little stool to keep spraying starter fluid in it everywhere I go.
Thanks, Jenn

Hi, I did have the fuel pressure checked and they said it was right where it needed to be.
I have had so many things checked and replaced with no luck on any of it and I just can't keep spending more and more money on things it doesn't need. That's why I was hoping someone else might have had this problem or had some idea about what it could be that I can have checked out that won't cost me a fortune!
Thanks,
Jenn

Check and test the fuel pump relay and fuel pump/oil pressure sending unit.

The fuel pump relay powers the fuel pump for 2secs once the engine fires the fuel pump/oil pressure sending unit takes over powering the pump.
