I have an 1996 suburban an I have an electric starter on it but when I start with the the alarm in runs fine and when I start it with the key in starts stallin and the transmission does not come out 1st gear and the speedometer and the rpms do not work I want to see if u can help me with these because it is driving me crazy

I had the same issue with a 1989 truck. Have your alarm checked - turned out mine had died and when I was using the key, the alarm was "reading" that as an attempted steal and went into the "protect" mode. Flynn
