Slow speed brake failure 2000 Silverado

Twice now my 2000 silverado 5.3 engine with 200,000 miles has lost brakes when turning left at low speed like pulling into parking spot. Brake petal kind of bucks then goes to floor with hardly any stopping ability. Brake light has been on for last 30,000 miles checked out and told brakes were fine and they were till recently

Which brake light is on? The yellow ABS or the RED one?

Just went out to re-create in empty parking lot. When first starting out no lights are on. At about 20-25mph both lights come on brakes worked fine. After turning truck off in parkijg lot restarting no lights came on slow speed turning hard left brake petal goes real hard vibrates then goes to floor with some noise included did this 3 times in row then both lights came on and no more brake trouble

Ok two things, check the fluid level and condition, is it contaminated with any type oil? Put a small amout in a cup of water stir or swirl it, any oil balls floating on top? We don't want any! 2 See about getting the ABS codes read at a shop that can do it. You will never find the proble, unless it's a leak, without the code!
