Chevy throttle problems.

Your TBI engine doesnt have a MAF sensor. Is the timing correct? The surge could be the minimum idle being off a little. Try small adjustments to the throttle screw.

One last question. I found the braided ground strap that runs from the motor to the body is broken. Could this be causing some of these problems.
