Ive only had my silverado a few weeks now and for 1 of those weeks it got sent to the shop to fix an a/c vent and check this clicking noise with my front tires but they said they couldn't figure out what it was. The sound is a loud clicking almost like you would hear when kids put cards in the spokes of their bikes. It only clicks when I am not accelerating and is most noticeable driving down my alley when I can hear it really well, it seems to be both front wheels

Try jacking up the front of your truck, and placing jack stands under your lower control arms. This will simulate load on the front suspension. Then spin your wheels. See if you can re-create this noice. Being only 2wd it rules out a cv axle, or a front driveshaft.
