2005 Chevy Silverado check engine light

I resently bought a edge juice with attitude module for my 05 chevy duramax I was driving and the truck got up to temp. I reached over and turned the chip on I accelerated and I had the back down for the boost set to low so it backed down the cheack engine light came on and the transmision locked in fourth gear I pulled over and tried to put it in reverse and it just blinked and would not move so I shut it off and started it back up the trans. Seemed fine the check engine light was still on so I removed the chip and it is still on what could it be thanks david
