I added two small cans. It takes a long time because I have to keep bleeding the propellant out of the line when the pressure gets too high.

We are not getting anywhere here since you do not understand how this system works.

I need numbers from a set of gauges. You need to either rent a set or buy a cheap set and put them on your truck and give me the readings.

You also will need a test light to do some voltage checks.

If I put a screwdriver or key in either port (high and low) nothing comes out. How is putting gauges to it going to show a reading?

Without pressure, the system will not engage.

Does not make sense. If you put in two cans and the reading is in the red, there should be pressure.

No it does not. While putting the cans in the pressure goes up but the clutch does not kick in to take the refrigerant.

You are going to need help from someone who knows AC systems.

Do you have anyone who can help you that has knowledge of the system?

These are the voltage numbers to the four electrical terminals with the AC turned on (you can see them in white).

The high side switch with 0 volts is wrong. That is the sensor behind the compressor.

That voltage comes from the control head as you can see in the diagram I sent you on my first response.

That diagram is a little small for me to read. So how do we get the volts to the high side switch?

Can I jumper the wire directly from the low side switch to the high side switch? Or maybe the low switch is bad?
