As truck is getting older I notice the smoke coming out of muffler is putting out more exhaust, is this an injector problem or or some other sensor that needs replaced?

Is it more black smoke than normal? Excessive soot. Have it scanned for any dtc's and check the injector balance rates. Had tons of trouble with injectors and injection pumps going bad on the 6.6L very common.

Thanks Brian, I have made an appointment with the local Chevy dealer I bought it from and they seem to think injectors may need replaced. I will let you know what happens. Chevrolet extended the injector to 7 years I believe.
