1999 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 98.000 miles

My truck quite running after looking over the motor I seen gas leaking out throughthe throttle body I open the throttle body gas ran out I then taken off the plenum about a pint of gas came out, what is causing this and how to correct this problem.

5.3 liter? Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator is blown and dumping raw fuel into the intake. It is located on the drivers side of the engien on the fuel rail, it has a small vacuum line that goes up to the intake manifold. You can purchase them at the dealer for a reasonable price and change it yourself.

Could be the regulator or the injector/s leaking or the fuel pressure excessive
