1994 Chevy Silverado Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1994 chevy 4x4 228000 all foward gears work ok when you put in reverse it engages and starts to move give it some gas and it starts to shake and seems to slip let off the gas and it quits shaking or slipping. If your on any kind of an incline it just shakes and won't hardly move. Any information would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Sounds like low reverse band is slipping. Have you changed fluid lately? If trany is 700 a trany shop maybe able to adj. If the fluid is real dark then clutches have slipped and you need rebuild.

You have a 4l60e transmission there is not a band adj on this trans if reverse is sliping you need to have your trans rebuilt
