1994 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My truck will start and I can put in drive but when I go to drive it, it won't change gears and the speedomoter doesn't work. I got the codes 28 and 72. But not sure what they are or how to fix.

28 Transmission Range (TR) Pressure Switch Assembly Fault

72 Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Circuit

Based on that, I would say the speed sensor is bad. Have that checked first. The pressure switch won't stop the speedo but the VSS will.
